China rail: recheck conventional train numbers for travel from 25 November

China Railway says conventional passenger trains departing from 00:00 on 25 November 2026 will use new train numbers. Routes and timetables will generally remain unchanged. Tickets under the new numbers will go on sale progressively from 11 November. High-speed and other EMU train numbers are unchanged in this phase. Look up your exact route and date on 12306 rather than relying on an older saved train number.
