APEC week: plan cross-border vehicle journeys off peak
For 16–20 November 2026, Shenzhen's port authority encourages cross-border freight operators and private-car travellers to reduce non-essential vehicle trips, use off-peak crossing times and follow on-site directions. Coordinate collection and delivery timing with your freight provider. This is an off-peak travel advisory, not a notice closing border crossings.

Reconfirm Hong Kong–Shenzhen vehicle transfers The port authority’s advisory asks travellers and operators to plan off-peak vehicle journeys during 16–20 November. Confirm crossing times and pickup arrangements directly with your transport provider, and follow instructions at the port.
Coordinate supplier collection and cross-border deliveries Ask suppliers and freight providers to agree collection windows and routes in advance. This is a voluntary off-peak travel initiative, not a border-closure notice. Separate Shenzhen road-vehicle restrictions may also affect the mainland part of the journey. Cross-border transport is separately arranged and quoted from my mainland day service.
